I am the chair for Kudzu Art Zone's Open Juried Exhibition this year. I invite all WCAGA members to enter our juried exhibition. Details are below:

Kudzu Art Zone Gallery & Art Center invites all Georgia artists working in two-dimensional and three-dimensional media to participate in our fourth annual Open Juried Exhibition.

Exhibition dates: June 17 – July 22
Entry deadline: Saturday, April 30, 2016

MEDIA CATEGORIES ACCEPTED
KAZ will consider 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional media for this exhibition. All artwork must be original. Artwork must have been completed within the last two years and not previously shown in any KAZ exhibition.

Accepted media: acrylic, charcoal, colored pencil, digital art, fiber arts, gouache, graphite, oil, mixed media, mosaic, pastel, pen & ink, printmaking, photography, watercolor, ceramics, pottery, and sculpture.

AWARDS
First prize will be awarded $1,000. Additional awards of cash and prizes will be given to 2nd, 3rd, and Honorable Mentions.

JUROR
Our Juror is Whitney Stansell. Whitney’s body of work ranges from fibers, sculpture, painting and drawing, to film and video works, and installations. The work often explores ideas of family history and narrative traditions. Her work is part of the permanent collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art for Georgia, Cornell University, and SCAD-Atlanta and Hong Kong. Stansell received her BFA from the University of Georgia in Fiber Arts and her MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design-Atlanta in painting.

ENTRY FEES
KAZ Members: $20 for 1 entry; $25 for 2 entries; $30 for 3 entries.
Non-members: $25 for 1 entry; $30 for 2 entries; $35 for 3 entries.
All fees are non-refundable.

HOW TO ENTER
Artists may submit up to 3 entries in JPEG format. Please submit one file for each 2-D work. For each 3-D artwork, up to three images (two of work and one detail) may be submitted. Submission does not guarantee acceptance into exhibition.

Artists may enter 1 of 2 ways:

1. Pay online and email images
To fill out the entry form and pay online, scroll down to the Online Entry Form below. Then email images to [email protected]. In the body of the email be sure to include the artist’s name, contact information, as well as the title of each entry submitted.

2. Mail entry form and images on CD
Please write the artist’s name and email address on the CD and mail it along with the submission form and entry fee to the address on the entry form.

May 15: Artist notifications sent via email
June 3 & 4: All accepted work hand-delivered by artists to KAZ
June 10: Exhibition Opens—Reception and Awards Presentation
July 22: Exhibition Closes
