Silent Fields

Song birds across the world, are dying. A recent study shows the demise of these SONG birds in the US and Canada 439 million bird loss in the blackbird family (bobolinks, Red Winged Blackbirds and common Grackles),145 million lost in the Finch family (Redpoll, Purple Finches and Evening Grosbeaks), 182 million loss in the Lark family, 618 Million lost in the Warbler family ( Canadian, Cape May and Wilson Warblers), 862 million lost in Sparrow family (Song, Savannah and Eastern). Our sky, backyards, grasslands and gardens will slowly become silent as these birds fade away from existence.
