Statement

I am a cold wax medium/oil artist that is intrigued with texture and color. My number one concern is for our environment. I am sad, mad, desperate, and trying to be hopeful. I hope that my recent works about the earth will convince non-believers, promote education, and help the planet. My materials contain cold wax medium which contains bee’s wax, and some mineral spirits, I try to use oil paint that is less toxic than others, and I do not use mineral spirits, Gamsol, or turpentine, or any cleaning agents in my work that is toxic to the environment. carolyn block rasche
