Statement

Being aware that our society still permits slavery of young girls for the mere sexual appetite of others is appalling. The human condition that has become better than any other time in history creates a “paradox”. Slavery once fueled our economy, but now kills the “purity” of young lives. I have realized that for all the comforts we have gained, we must decide to what degree we turn our backs to the trafficking of young girls and against the destruction its poisonous to our world.
