Statement
I’d like to think that the human spirit can overcome tragedy. I’ve seen evidence that good things can come from really bad circumstances. Our world won’t ever be perfect, but if good people stand together to stop the madness we can make it better. These pretty little fragile figures, made from clay, collected detritus, trash, ephemeral and utilitarian objects, are tributes to the hope and determination that brings change. They stand for me. I stand with you.
