Statement

Taken in a corridor, outside the remains of a solitary confinement cell, the figure in the image turns away from the viewer and faces darkness. The title Three Graces alludes to the three daughters of Zeus in ancient Greek mythology. These daughters were the embodiment of female charm and beauty. However, these qualities can often be bittersweet gifts, leading to entrapment or false promises. Throughout my work, I explore the duplicitous nature of feminine energy, the exchange of power and the hazards of domestic comfort.
