Statement

My work entitled CATCH AND RELEASE represents the extremes of feeling out of control or under the control of another person and feeling free and in control of your destiny. In between is a spectrum where we all have experienced some level of being in or out of control. For many victims they are not extremes or options but part of everyday's survival of the mind and body. Learning to forget and remembering how to control the uncontrollable. The CATCH is a place we don't wish to be and a place where we can not survive for long. The RELEASE can come in many forms and is as inevitable as death but without it there is no freedom.
