Stephanie is an Atlanta based artist and actor with a BFA in Music Theatre from Elon University. She uses art as a way to process intense emotions and purge negativity. Through her work she hopes to cultivate empathy in the viewer and shed light on how it looks to deal with some of our darkest demons. Few have darker ones than the victims of sex trafficking, an international crisis that occurs right in our city every day. She hopes these paintings will help raise awareness about this issue and encourage viewers to think about related issues such as body image, body autonomy, and self acceptance.
